Recently, Google has updated the key change for Google Analytics. Now, you can link multiple adwords account with a single Google analytics account. Recently, On 31st August,2011, Google has anounced this update on their Official Google Blog for Analytics.
Link all your Google Adwords account to Google Analytics
Earlier, if you have multiple accounts for your client in Adwords then it would be difficult to track all the cost data & adwords data into Google Analytics as you can link 1 adwords account to only 1 analytics account but now, you can link multiple Google adwords account to single Google analytics account. The new data sources section in the Google Analytics account settings area makes it easy to use auto-tagging with multiple AdWords accounts and import your AdWords data into Google Analytics. Well, In normal case you won’t need this feature but yes, If you are working for some agency or have client which was earlier working with some other company then you will surely going to love this feature. Here are 2 examples which shows how this feature can be utilized.
- If you are working for some agency then you might have more than one adwords account for same client but there will be only one google analytics account. Now this new update allows you to import cost data from both of your adwords account & check the campaign performance & keyword performance on different matrices.
