Hello Friends,

Recently, I have cleared my Certification course in “SEO & Internet Marketing” with 90% score. I just love SEO :)

Well, I have posted this update on various social media platforms & my accounts flooded with the messages of congrats from my friends & readers. I am feeling so blessed to be surrounded by so caring friends & fan of Innovative SEO. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all using this platform :)

I got many inquiries from my friends about this course & its details as it seems many SEO Professionals & even other professionals who would like to join this amazing field would like to gain this certification for the advancement of their career in this industry. So, I thought to share the details using this post with you all guys.

SEO Certification by IGNOU

Yes, you got it right. This certification is in association with IGNOU & first of its kind. There are numerous institutes available on the web who offer certification course in SEO & Internet Marketing as there are no University certification available in this field. But now, for the first time, IGNOU has started the certification course in SEO & Internet Marketing. I have cleared this certification by associating with International Academy for Certification & Training. As per the information published on their website,

“IACT is the only institution in India providing certification in SEO & Internet Marketing, with affiliation to IGNOU, wold’s largest university.”

Course Name : Internet Marketing & Search Engine Optimization

Duration : 3 Months

Method of Learning : E-learning

Once I have enrolled with IACT, they had sent me study material by courier which contains, 7 modules of the course. At the end of each module there is an assignment. Once you clear the assignment, you will get access to presentation for another module in your online account for e-learning. So, you have to feel 7 assignments in total to appear for the online final examination test.

The time period is between 1-3 months to clear the certification depending upon your reading habits & learning ability. There is no restriction on giving examination in a particular time frame which is very helpful for the candidate like me.

I feel that, instead of appearing for any private college or University, its much much better to gain a certificate from the university like IGNOU & this is the first time, IGNOU has started such certification in association with IACT. So, all those friends who would like to get an certificate from IGNOU in SEO & Internet Marketing, you can approach the IACT team for more details. I hope this information will be useful to you guys.

UPDATE :

Well, Friends, I have received the SEO Certification from IACT and also received the IGNOU certification of PG Diploma in SEO & Internet Marketing.  I had a good experience with them & as far as I know this is the only institute which offers IGNOU certification in SEO. There are no colleges and university have started offering such courses in India so it is really nice forward step from IACT.

Hope other colleges do something like IACT does ;)

when one of my friend approached iact , they said they are charging around 7k but you have mentioned 9k .

Well, I don’t think but may be you need to check about the certification authority. I think, they might have stop association with IGNOU. Better you should check before joining the course.

M not sure about it, but I got the certificate from IGNOU 6 months back. So, would suggest talk to IACT people. They can guide you better in this case.
